I believe I have a corrupted install. XP Home on my 40
Gig HD will sometimes not be recognized. This HD is in a
removeable carrier, and other HD's that I have operate
fine. When I go to XP Recovery (XP CD in drive) and
attempt to initiate recovery, it asks for an
ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD. I did not to my knowledge enter
one when I loaded it originally. What will allow it to
proceed?
