When I run SymanTec Utilities I get an error message which
states, "DotNetInstaller cannot access a necessary
file, "mscoree.dll" I've done a search and the file is
not on my harddrive. I believe it is a Microsoft file but
I don't know what it does, I don't know where to find it
to replace it and I dont know where to put it if I did
find it. Can anyone help?

The file is a Microsoft .NET Runtime Execution Engine. You may have
to reinstall the Microsoft .Net package.

I went to that link but I did not want to direct the user to an
unknown site to download critical files.
You should have replied to his message instead of mine. It's hard
to keep track of replies with the web-based interface.
