Hello

I am a new user of this Dell computer with XP home and
everthing worked fine until this morning when my address
bar did not appeare on the screen.

"Help" suggested I go to the "View" click "toolbars" and
click "Address bar" which was not highlited. I did as
they said but nothing happened. I had hoped that this
would restore the address bar but no luck.

Can anyone help me?

When you first start up the computer and it fills the
screen.

It was always there when I would start and would always
show the web address of the site I was visiting.

Now,all I have is the "Menu bar, task bar, tool
bar,Title bar" , and all of the icons associated with my
windows XP....but not" Address Bar"

I feel like a total neanderthal when it comes to
expailning.

But thanks for atleast the response.

Greetings --

That still doesn't tell me what specific application you have
chosen to open on startup. What does the Title Bar (At the top of the
window) say? There is no Address Bar associated directly with WinXP,
which is an operating system.

What is on the very top line of your display that is missing the address
bar?

Hello Again
Thank you for your patience.

The Title Bar says
" TBaytel.net Microsoft Internet Explorer"

Is this what is needed?

Again
Sorry to be so slow and ignorant

Hello Bruce

I think I solved the problem.
I put my curser on the line that separates the Title bar
from the Tool Bar and those double arrows appeared.

When I drag them down, the Address reappeared.

Thank you for you patience
The last think I opperated was a log and stone chisel on
a cave wall!!

Thanks
Kolya
