XP IS SCREWING OVER!

Everytime I start up the computer there is either an error
with the system or it takes me to the blue screen doing a
memory dump or something. When Win XP finally starts up,
I get all these corrupt files and error boxes. And then
the settings of my WinXP changes. It doesn't have
that "XP" look to it anymore, it's like an Win98 look to
it. What's going on with my computer?!

Jennifer;
Once at the Desktop:
Start/Run
Type "cmd" ENTER
Type "sfc /scannow" ENTER
Have your Windows XP CD available.
This will check for and replace corrupted files.
