If you mean Outlook Express then yes your IP will appear in the header. (any
other mail client too AFAIK)

One doesn't send email with Windows XP. You need an email client to do
this. I assume you are using Outlook Express which comes with Windows XP?
yes, it will send the IP address. As the mail passes through various
machines being forwarded through the network, IP addresses are added at
each step. You can see this for yourself if you look at the menu in
Outlook Express: File/Properties then Details tab on an email.
