hi,
I am having windows xp home and when ever i start the
computer it does an check disk even though it is shut
down properly. I deleted the keys in the registry as
suggested in the KB but of no use. I have 4MB of bad
sectors on the disk. I want to disable the check disk
even for a bad shutdown ie disable check disk till i want
it . Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Go to Start > Run and type: CMD , and hit enter. Then type in:
chkntfs /x c: , and hit enter. Reboot your computer.
