Hello
Recently I've been trying to open Management Console
applications, all of which (compmgmt, services etc. etc.)
give me the "MMC cannot open the file" dialog instead of
working.
So I used System Restore to go back to a time when MMC
worked.
Something crashed while System restore was taking place.
After it rebooted, the login screen comes up, the cursor
flashes as normal, and disk activity seems to have
stopped, but the touchpad or keyboard don't work. plugging
in an external mouse and keyboard doesn't work either
So I can't even find out my Product ID number in order to
raise a proper call about this problem!!!
