Andrew, Win XP? start>run>"regedit" (no quotation marks)>
and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersi
on\Explorer\VolumeCaches\Compress Old Files. Highlight
this key, export it to desktop or wherever in case you
need to restore it (you probably won't), then remove
(delete) all the reg. keys under "compress old files"
Reboot and you should be good to go.
