I have two problems.
1) For the past couple of months I've had to press
the shut down button atleast 2 times for the computer to
shut down. If I don't the computer will just do nothing.
2) This is my big problem. I have a 74.5 gig hard
drive and have used about 16 gigs of that. Yet when I
click on "My Computer" it says I only have about 12.9
gigs left. What is wrong. Please HELP!

See MVP Jim Eshelman's Shutdown Troubleshooter for Windows XP at

What else does it say about the hard drive? Does it show the full
74.5 gb capacity with over 60 gb used? Or is it showing a smaller
total capacity for the drive?

Have you tried using Disk Cleanup on the driver (Start - All Programs
- Accessories - System Tools - Disk Cleanup)?

Good luck
