Hello
Why does Bootvis write "Warning! Disk write caching is disabled" in Disk I/O
after tracing boot+drivers? "Enable write caching on the disk" is checked in
the HD properties.

Enabling it will speed up disc access noticeably but in the event of
power loss, files that are still waiting to be written to disc, won't
be. This would be less of a problem with NTFS than FAT32 'cos NTFS
either writes a file correctly, or not at all, even with a power loss.

Device Manager, Disk Drives, Properties, Policies tab, tick the box.

Probably because you have Intel Application Accelerator installed??

you probably have it disabled in your registry, or some other software has
disabled it.

If everything is working okay, I would not worry about it.

No. I had uninstalled the Intel Application Accelerator.

The "Enable write caching on the disk" is checked in the HD properties. What
do you mean by disabling it in the registry?
