Two days ago I re-installed Windows XP Pro on a machine
using the "Upgrade" option.
Then I went to the Windows Update site and chose SP1 as
my first upgrade.
After the install, I rebooted and the system seemed
to "hang" with the light blue background that appears
before the sysem is ready for logging on.
I was going to reboot, but it appears there is disk
activity, roughly one activity light flash every second.
This has been like this for two days. Will it eventually
quit? What's going on, anyway?
