I tried to uninstall MSN Explorer thru Add/Remove
Programs, Add/Remove Windows Components. When it was
done, IE, Windows Messenger, Outlook Express, Calculator,
and all my games were also gone. With the exception of
Calculator, all the shortcuts were gone from my desktop,
quick launch, and start menu/programs menus. Calculator
shortcuts were still present, but apparently the target
file was missing.
So, thru Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Windows
Components, I added Windows Messenger, Outlook Express,
and IE back, but after using each of the programs and
exiting them, the shortcuts from the desktop, quick launch
and start menu all disappeared again. What's going on?
