is ther anyway to change the mother board battery without losing cmos and
other settings just asking

Usually the battery is already kaput before it is replaced. However assuming
you want to replace it before it dies all that is needed is a large
capacitor connected across the battery. When the battery is removed the
capacitor will keep the charge on the CMOS. Many boards already have a
capacitor installed.

okay thanx any idea about where to find this info (to see if i have a
capacitor)i have a Micron PC mobo
