PC world says if you're having erradic problems with any
application you should run msconfig to see if you might
have duplicates running in the background.
I too am having problems with photoshop but only since
yesterday when I installed Service Pack 1 (express).
I checked in msconfig and discovered that I have
duplicate versions of photoshop running in the
background. I'm still trying to figure out what to do...
maybe you have the same problem?

as i have been running this as well on my computer (adobe ps v.7) it is due
to the scratch file. my scratch file was set on C:\ originally and i moved
it to asecond drive on my computer it worked perfect and no crashes or
anything. Moving the scratch file is detrimental to stopping the problems
with Adobe.
