After a update is processed can you deleted the files that
are named something like XP Hotfix (SR1) [Q3333333]. They
all have the same file size of 20.18, so they appear to be
temp files.

If you wish to safely remove the "uninstall files" for the
Hotfixes (i.e. $NtUninstallQxxxxxx$ files shown in Windows Explorer)=20
and cleanup your Add/Remove Programs list, visit MS-MVP Doug Knox's=20
excellent website for instructions.
Note: Doug's program only removes the uninstall files and Hotfix =
entries
in the Add/Remove Programs listing. It does not remove the=20
actual updates.
