Disk Cleanup Freeze

When I attempt a disk clean up, the program freezes and I
have to reboot before I can continue with other
programs.Same with system reset. I only lists the current
date as the one to selecte, but clicking on past dates
does not work. The screen freezes on the current date
andd requires a reboot to continue on with other
programs. I see these questions have been posed numberous
times but I never see an answer. Anyone out there can
help. Thanks

Line 48, Right column "Disk Cleanup - Compress..."
Save on Desktop.
Double click the icon once downloaded.
The icon can then be discarded.

System Restore:
Many things determine how long Restore Points remain.
Computer usage.
Available space on hard drive.
Space you allocate to System Restore.
Many others.

Also, Real Player is known to cause Restore Points to disappear, quit
using Real Player to see if all is then OK:
