OKay I will make a long story short. My graphics card
(geforce 4 128mb) runs an emulator type software to
emulated the other 64 mb that is not in hardware.(simular
to the old 64mb geforce 2 that had only 16mb hardware and
the rest is in software see this:

and read about the Rscmpt.exe) Anyways due to this
program that takes up all of the clock time I have
problems running some programs well. For example when
using MP3 Gain, a program that normalises mp3 files it
seems really slow. I don't remember getting this problem
but it now is one. Anyways when I change the priority of
the RScmpt.exe to low everything seems to run okay. (I
can't completely take it off otherwise my graphics card
will only read as 64MB) is this safe to alter the
priority levels. I seem to get better performance out of
my computer with some programs that don't run so well.
For example. MP3 Gain, Nero express (when adding files to
a project) Gordan Knot (when compressessing Vob files to
avi). My point I guess is noone seems to knows much about
my graphics card and its problems or how to fix it. So I
have done some research and I want to know whether it is
healthy to change the priorites much. Because I seem to
have to do it alot. ( I am running a 2.4 P4) so I am
assuming that my computer could handle just about
anything. I guess I can't explain everything, but if
someone could decifer what I have just said and has some
help please post cause I am keen on some answers.
