Programs launch unexpectedly

Am running Win XP Pro and Office Pro XP.

Just recently, when working in Word, it wants to drop down
menus without being promted and even launched an Access
application without being prompted.

Don't know if this is coming from Windows or some fault in
Office. Any ideas?

You have voice recognition turned on with a live microphone. It is
picking up your voice or background voices from the television,
radio, stereo or other people in the room.
