installing fonts

I am unable to install fonts in windows xp using the
control panel. When I go to control panel/fonts/file the
only options are "New" and "close". There is no "install
new font" function.

Hi, Bob..copy the font and paste it in the Fonts folder and Windows will
install it for you....

If you do not have a font selected the regular menu appears under
File including Install new font.
