Service Pack 2

I purchased a Dell computer on November of 2001. I just
downloaded a new sound card from Creative Technologies
because of trouble I was having with the original one.
Creative recommended downloading Service Pack 2 if I had
not done so. I continually download upgrades from
Microsoft. Do I still need Service Pack 2?

Visit Windows Update and download Service Pack 1.
Service Pack 2 will be released late this year.
