I get the following message on my computer after it trys
to download Office 2000 SR1a.
Bad Gateway
The following error occurred:
A DNS lookup error occurred.
Please contact the administrator.

I had my brother download O2ksr1a.exe and email it to me.
When I ran it I got the Lisence agreement. I agreed. It
ran for a while then I got (in a window):
Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Update could not download the
Office 2000 ST-1 Core Update
Retry or Cancel.
I said retry 2 times with the same result.
I spent a lot of time trying all the fixes in Microsoft
article:
818018 - HOW TO: Troubleshoot Problems Connecting to
Windows Update. (by the way. windows update works fine.
Office 2000 update is where the problem is.)
I have a cable modem and spent 2 hours on the phone with
Charter Communicationi this morning checking their end
out.
