Running XP Pro on a Dell 8200 with plenty of everything.
Ran a routine defrag of drive C: which completed normally.
Then found that the Run, Search and Help and Support
functions won't work. They do display correctly but when
clicked, there is a short HD burst and then nothing.
Everything else on the Start menu works normally except
these three items.
If I switch back to "Windows Classic" style, everything
works correctly.
Anybody know what file(s) to look for?
