I've just installed Service Pack 1 for XP, and since then
(was fine before) booting up now takes about 4-5 minutes.
After checking the memory, boot devices etc, the screen
goes black and stays there for about 4 minutes, and then
the white progress bar is displayed and also hangs for
about another minute. I've booted with /SOS in boot.ini
and whilst on the white-bar section, the file being loaded
is hal.dll.
If anyone has any ideas i'd be very greatful :)
