Upgrade from 2000 pro

I would like to upgrade from 2000 pro to XP either Home or
Pro.
Is it possible to upgrade to XP Pro without reformatting
my hard drive.
I understand that I cannot upgrade to Home from 2000 pro
without reformatting..HELPPPPPPPP

You can upgrade Win2000 Pro to WinXP Pro without formatting.
Yes, for WinXP Home, you need to do a clean-install.

You can do so to XP Professional, but not to XP Home.
