Upon starting my computer, which is running Windows XP
Pro, there are no problems except perhaps an increase in
the time it takes windows to start up. After the start-up
screen finishes loading windows I get a blank screen.
After about two minutes the mouse cursor appears.
I tried starting up in safe mode and even safe mode with
command prompt but I am getting the same results. A blank
screen for two minutes, then the safe-mode screen (with
safe-mode printed in the four corners of the screen)
appears with the mouse icon present but nothing else.
Any ideas on how to either fix this or find a solution to
this problem?
