Cdudf_xp and Udfreadr_xp

I had to rename the Cdudf_xp and the Udfreadr_xp files in
order to elimate a conflict with the InCD(Nero)CD burning
software. I understand that these files are leftovers
from DirectCD. Renaming the files took care of my CD
burning problems; however, Windows XP continues to look
for the renamed files when booting (event viewer error).
I suspect this is slowing the boot process. Is this
slowing my boot and if so is there a way to stop XP from
looking for the files?
