my license says windows xp pro 1-2 CPU

does that mean i can install it legally on 2 seperate 1-
cpu computers???

No.

It means you can install it on one PC and use a max of 2 CPUs.

No, it means you can install it on a computer with either one or two
CPU's. XP Pro supports two processors in a single machine.

No, it does not. You can install it only on a single computer,
and that computer can be running either one or two CPUs.
