Recently bought a new notebook with Windows XP Home
installed.
When I go to Windows Updates, I am given a total of 23
update files, either critical or recommended, that total
29MB to download and install.
I live in country NSW with slow phone lines, so it is
going to take me ages (at least 5 hours I think) to
download all of this - that is if my connection stays up
for the whole time (unlikely).
Are these updates available anywhere on CDROM?
Can anyone suggest any other way of getting updated?
