freezing windows

Please !!! maybe somebody will help me , when I surf , my
windows XP suddenly freeze and I have to restart the
system again , it happens very often ,I have checked what
is wrong and I have got this message :
Cleaning up corrupt content index metadata on c:\system
volume information\catalog.wci. Index will be
automatically restored by refiltering all documents.

What should I do ???????
