I have been getting several errors lately with my
computer. I do not know the exact text but I believe it
says "System could not find module C:\Windows\SYSTEM32
\msie40.dll" and only appears when I first boot up my
computer and Windows XP loads my desktop. I also get
some kind of RUNDLL error that pops up for half a second
(too fast to read it) and then disappears again.
Other problems happen when I try to watch certain video
files (normally .avis that I have downloaded recently) -
such as if I open My Videos folder and select the file,
Windows Explorer will error and shut down. If I open
Winamp or Windows Media Player and try to select the same
file to watch, those programs will also shut down
automatically. Even when I attempt to redownload the
files from a website, the file save dialog box often
closes immediately, before the file even downloads.
I have NO idea what the problem is... could someone help?
