Messenger VS MSN Messenger

[Ludovico]

Hi,
after I've installed the msn messenger 7.0, I would like to uninstall to old
version, that is messenger 4.x.
how can I uninstall messenger?, or how can I stop Outlook Express to run
messenger automatically?

Open up Outlook Express, click on TOOLS - OPTIONS.. uncheck the option to
open Windows Messenger..

You can stop Windows Messenger from starting with Outlook Express by closing Outlook Express,
then downloading and running the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/stopmessenger_oe.reg
