Emergency Start-Up Disk

My laptop does not have a floppy and I cannot find
instructions on how to create a start-up onto a CD.

The Windows XP CD itself is bootable and is a Startup Disk.
It has all the necessary tools to repair XP in the event of an
unlikely failure.
