I've been using MS Windows and IE since day one.
Starting with Windows '95, when first installed, Internet
Explorer ran fine. When I would X out of IE a little
window popped up giving me a choice "disconnect" or "stay
connected" with a check off to disable auto disconnect.
After a while, the popup window with the autodisconnect
choice stopped coming up. I searched everywhere trying
to find out how to get it back, because I would
frequently forget to disconnect and my phone would be off
for hours. This has happened with
Windows '95, '98, '98SE, and now with XP home. It has
finally chapped my ass so bad I'm about to go to Netscape
or Safari. Shutdown and/or reboot does nothing to fix
it. Can anyone help me get back my little window to
remind me to disconnect when I'm through surfing?
