shut down too slow

I have got a new compaq pentium 4 with windows XP and
every thing is ok and the pc is fast except for shuting
down or loging of (the pc takes 5 to 10 minutes to shut
down or log of from window xp)

If that does not help you can use " Force " to close the program which is
