XP SP2 and Norton Internet Security

I had to uninstall Norton and after I reinstalled it SP2 no longer recognizes
it and I cannot turn off the Windows Firewall no matter what I do. What can
I do????

Big mistake installing Norton. Many comments in these newsgroups about how
lousy a piece of junk it is. Remove it.
