Standby mode

I originally posted this on "basics", but possibly it
should be under this newsgroup....
"When I click on Standby mode, computer goes into
standby,
but within a minute or two, windows comes back on. I have
tried making changes in Power Management and have not
been able to correct problem. Any suggestions?"
