When I print the CPU is dedicating 100% to printing. I
have a Canon BJC-255SP, running XP professional on an
Athlon 1800XP+ @ 1533MHz, print processor is Canon BJC-
255SP print processor with default data type 'RAW'.
One other thing, anyone have a good method for
consolidating duplicate files (non-system files)?

That is not necessarily a bad thing. If your computer is performing no tasks
other than printing, that 100% usage
simply means it is giving CPU cycles to the process most in need of them. On
the other hand, if there are other tasks
being ignored, then you do have a problem and more information about the
other programs running
is needed.

On my system the System Idle Process sucks up the lion's share of my CPU
when nothing else is
actually running.
