Not Sure Where....?

sorry for posting this here. I know some poeple don't like putting stuff in
wrong topics, but I want sure where else to put it, and it will only take a
second. I have Windows XP, and I would like to make a webpage on the internet
for a youth soccer team. I want to put all the teams pictures and some extra
info. on it. Is there any website that will allow me to create this, with
around 15 mb storage? I was using freewebs, but I only recently discovered
that they only allow 50 files to be uploaded in total. I will most likely
have closer to 300 pictures. Once again, sorry for putting this in this
discussion, but it was the only place I could find, and I use it regularaly
anyways. Thank in advance.

UPDATE: I posted this message earlier the other day, but I had realized that
I missed specifying one important thing. I do not want to pay at all. I pay
to get the intenet and thats all I plan on shelling out any money for. Is
there a site that will od this for me? Does anyone know what the features of
piczo are? Its not posted on their site. And does anyone know if tripod has
an upload limit? I know that they dont allow the site to be bigger than 20
mb, but is there a certain amount of pics that you're restricted to
uploading? Thanks again in advance, and keep the FREE web hosting suggestions

Most Internet Service Providers (ISPs) include with their accounts a certain amount of
server space for posting web pages. The amount of space varies with the ISP, and the
number of hits allowed might vary as well as restrictions of content. But, it would seem
for your purposes, if your ISP is like most, that creating the web page/pages and then
FTPing the files (HTM and any image files) to your designated space would be the way to
go. So, if for example your email address would be , your web page
address would probably be something like http://aloha.net/~thunderstruck/soccer.htm. Of
course some ISPs use other methods for setting up and uploading to a user's server space
for web pages, and other formats for web addresses (e.g. Road Runner, Yahoo, etc.) Usually
ISPs give a reasonable amount of server space (norm is about 20 MB). If it is only for
the soccer page and photos, and your ISP gives a reasonable amount of space, you probably
do not to look for a host, if your own ISP does include the above. Also, to conserve on
server space, if the 300 images are JPG format (if they are NOT you should convert them to
JPG format in order to use less server space), you might think of using a program like
ThumbsPlus, and set the JPG quality to about 87%, which really does not perceivably change
the image to the naked eye, but can cut the image file size down to as much as 1/3 or even
less of the original file size. (Not the physical size of the image, just the file size)
I just saved a 440k JPG file at 87% quality. The file size went down to 140k, and I
cannot tell the difference between the two images when I look at them.
