XP is loaded on my c drive, but to increase storage space
I have installed additional hard drives. I now want to
place my different user accounts files on these drives,
and still retain all the same security privilages (IE
access to your files & drive only). However when I
transfer the files to the new drives and log in as the
account user, new standard account files are
automatically added in c\documents and settings.

Is it possible to tell XP that all a specific users
details and files are on a different drive to C?

You can assign the location of MY Documents on any physical
or logical drive. When you install a program you also have
the option of installing the program on any drive.

But since you boot to the OS on C: it will make registry
entries on C: so it can find your data.

Some of the tools you need to assign to other drives are
included in XP directly, some are easier to access if you
get TweakUI, part of the PowerToys for Windows. (free
download).
