Up until today, I'va had no problem opening up the display
properties by right-clicking on the desktop and
selecting "properties." This has always worked
perfectly. Now, when I try to adjust my screensaver,
change my background, or screen resolution, the display
properties crashes. It will open up, but within a matter
of seconds, it crashes and gives the following error
message:
rundll32.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x636fe019" referenced memory
at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".
I also get this error message:
Run a DLL as an App
Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to
close.
Error signature
AppName: rundll32.exe
AppVer: 5.1.2600.0
ModName: mshtml.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2726.2500
Offset: 0017e019
I have no reason why these messages keep popping up and
don't know why I can't access my display properties. Any
help is much appreciated. Thank you.
