Are you using the test function for email settings within Outlook? The
email message you're receiving from the mail server says that your test
email made it to its destination but was rejected by the mail server.
I've had that test fail as well when setting up Outlook and then minutes
later the email show up in my Inbox. So I ignore the failure message and
wait. If the mail doesn't show up in 24 hours, then I double check my
settings.
Another thing to try is skipping the Test in Outlook. Instead, write
yourself a mail from the main window. Send it. Wait about 10-20 minutes.
Then try picking up the mail. The extra time between sending and
receiving may be what's needed to avoid the automatic email the mail
server is currently sending back to you.
You might also want to check your "block" list. It's not unheard of to
accidentally block yourself when experimenting with this feature
Also, double check the required info from your ISP for ingoing/outcoming
mail servers, authentication info if required, etc. Sometimes they have
alternative settings. One set may work better for you than another.
