Corrupted Recycle Bin in Win XP

My Recycle Bin does not function any more and any files that are deleted are
removed completely without first going into the Recycle Bin and allowing me
the option of permanently deleting or restoring. This behaviour was noticed
soon after I converted my drives to NTFS from FAT32 using Partition Magic
8.0. Someone please help.
