I am using Windows XP and can not access content change
on IE 6.0 with passport. Passport support says that my
IE is CORRUPT. When I try to download IE 6.0 I get a
Window named "Windows Update Setup" which says "Setup has
detected a newer version of Internet Explorer already
installed on this system. SETUP CANNOT CONTINUE.

I tried uninstalling IE in Control panel and still could
not install IE because of the "Setup cannot continue
lockout." I had to go to go to the recycle bin to
retrieve the IE that was deleted. How can I overcome
the "Setup cannot Continue" lockout.
