i just recently started using a DSL connection. i would like to know if i
can send and receive faxes using the microsoft fax with the DSL? i already
have a filter on my phone line but, when i try to send a fax...it says no
dial tone detected. so, i dont know what i need to do or if it is even
possible? thanks for any help!

No you would have to use a filter on the DSL line and connect that to an
analog modem.

Dee Ann;
You cannot send a fax on a DSL line. You will still need your modem
and a landline to send a fax.

well you could just use a service like e fax and not all the time do
you need to use a filter with dsl he could be set up as a spilter
install. whare they put a sptiler out in the nid and the dsl works off
of one jack.
