Hi, Iīm using XP Home (American version). Since Iīve moved to Germany, Iīve
installed a German keyboard, and changed all the regional settings.
Everything is fine except for one thing: When I start the computer, and it
asks for my password to log in, it still acts like it has a US keyboard.
Next to the text entry field, thereīs a language box similar to the one that
goes next to the systray that says "EN" for English. After I get in, itīs
fine, using the German layout (except for the 2.5 minutes it takes for my
Norton AV to start up, but thatīs another issue). When I need to re-login
after the screensaver comes on, it accepts in the German layout. Does
anyone have an idea on this one? TIA
