Freeze on startup

I don't have any solutions but i do have the same
problem. I run Windows XP Home Edition and ever since
this problem started for me I've tried reinstalling
windows from scratch several times but it's never worked
and windows even freezes when booting from the windows cd
or during the reboot half-way through the install.... :(

I still have no idea what's wrong or how to fix it....
