Hi,
I have experienced some extremely bad performance of a
U320/SCSI drive on WinXP. Accordoing to a knowledgebase
article this has been fixed in SP1, see

In that article however reference is made to the file
version 5.1.2600.12 of ntfs.sys. On my SP1-upgraded system
I have version 5.1.2600.1106, which then would be the
wrong one, at the following locations c:\windows\system32
\drivers\ and c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386\ however i
found a version 5.1.2600.28 at c:\i386 .
I'm I updated i relation to the KBarticle above?
