I had problems after installing two security patches from
MS these were Q815021 and 811493 both caused my computer
to freeze up after several minutes into any session. I
uninstalled both of these updates but the computer still
crashed although not as often - hence I am able to write
this message. I then tried to restore my system to an
earlier date only to find that not one of the several
system check dates worked and I am now left without a clue
as to what I can do to solve the problem. I thought that
Microsoft would help in situations like this where their
critical updates have caused such a problem but it seems
this is not so. Can anyone help please!
