Hi,
in a Windows 2003 server network with Active Directory I have installed DOS
applications with executables and files stored on shares located on a member
server. The DOS apps are merely files, without any real installation.
The clients pcs deploy Windows 2000 Professional and Windwos XP and all
user apps work fine. But when a DOS application is started on a client all
windows applications, especially filesearch within the explorer are slowed
down badly.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
regards
Olaf
