>After swapping hard drives and reinstalling everything

an 'Access Denied' message when I try to rename my folders
(My Documents etc., which has already changed names once
since the reinstallation...). All my docs & files are on a
separate drive where I can still create & change new
folders but not change the names of the ones I created
before a few days ago - I can still change the folders
inside these though.

>IF I have understood your problem it appears your
permissions have not carried over to the new hard drive
during the restore. To solve the problem you will need
to "take ownership" of the folder and all the sub-folders
in the drive where you are having denial of access. Go to
properties|advanced|owner of the parent folder on the
drive and set youself as the owner.
